Betplay is an online casino at betplay.io that was live in October 2026 but showed nothing a reviewer could verify. Requests from Spain were cut off before any page loaded, and a check from the United States met a Cloudflare "Checking your connection" challenge instead of the casino. The most recent archive copy, from 8 September 2026, holds only that same protective shell.
That leaves a short list of facts: the domain exists, it sits behind Cloudflare, and it has not closed. Its operator, licence, bonus, payment methods and the provinces it accepts are all unknown. This review does not borrow those details from elsewhere. It explains what is missing, separates Betplay from the similarly named Betplays, and shows Canadian players what to check before trusting the site with money.
Betplay casino online: what could be confirmed

"Unknown" here means the casino's own pages could not be read, not that the feature is missing. The difference matters for you as a player, but not for the score: under our method a fact that cannot be confirmed earns nothing, so Betplay carries no score until its terms can be quoted.

Anyone typing casino Betplay into a search bar may land on either one. - a full browser session from Spain, which met the same reset;

The Wayback Machine has copies up to 8 September 2026, but each is the same small shell, with no footer, terms or lobby text inside it. So the block is not new, and it is not limited to one country.
What this does not tell you is why. A casino can refuse a country because its licence forbids it, because it chooses not to serve that market, or simply because its security settings are strict. Players in Canada may see the full site. If you do, the details missing from this page should be visible to you, and the checks below show how to read them.
Who runs Betplay? Licence and owner
No company name, registered address, registration number or licence is on record for betplay.io. The September 2026 archive copy is about 2.5 KB of Cloudflare and JavaScript code with no footer, which is where a casino normally prints its licence details. So there is no register entry to check and no regulator to name.
For a player, this is the gap that matters most. A licence number lets you confirm that a real company is accountable for the site and tells you which authority to contact if a withdrawal is refused.
