BetNova is the casino and sportsbook of the Goldrush Gaming Group, and in Canada it runs as two regulated sites: betnova.ca for players in Ontario and playbetnova.ca for players in Alberta. The Ontario operator, Goldrush Canada Limited, is registered with the AGCO under OPIG1372172, issued on 25 August 2025. Its welcome promotion splits into four 100% match codes worth up to C$2,500 in total, each with 30x wagering.
This BetNova review quotes the Ontario terms, promotions and responsible-gaming pages as of October 2026. The Alberta site appears on the regulator's register, but its own pages would not load for us, so its bonus and banking rules stay unconfirmed. One more warning before the details: a site at betnova.casino uses the same name but is not this casino.
The BetNova bonus: four welcome codes, one per deposit
Instead of one package, BetNova Ontario lists four separate welcome offers. You can use each code once, in any order, one per deposit:
- BETNOVA001: 100% up to C$1,000 plus 20 free spins, minimum deposit C$10.
- BETNOVA002: 100% up to C$500 plus 20 free spins, minimum deposit C$10.
- BETNOVA003: 100% up to C$500 plus 30 free spins, minimum deposit C$15.
- BETNOVA004: 100% up to C$500 plus 30 free spins, minimum deposit C$15.
Wagering is 30 times the bonus amount, and it has to be completed within 7 days of the bonus being credited. The free spins are on selected Pragmatic Play slots at C$0.40 each and must be claimed within 7 days. One oddity: the BETNOVA003 terms say "customers", not "new customers" as the others do.
The 30x in dollars, and the cashout cap
The table uses only the amounts in the terms. Maximum cashout from a casino bonus is twice the bonus amount, and anything above that is removed.

Put simply, the C$1,000 code asks for C$30,000 in slot bets inside a week, and even a strong run pays out no more than C$2,000 from the bonus. Withdrawing before the wagering is done forfeits the bonus and its winnings. Video slots and other eligible casino games count 100%, roulette 10%, and table games, live casino, esports and sports 0%. The terms do not state a maximum bet while a bonus is active.
The casino publishes no welcome-offer terms we could source, so we show none.
Ontario site: Ontario's regulator allows casino bonuses to be advertised only on the casino's own site (AGCO Standard 2.05), so its offer is not listed here.
BetNova cashback, reloads and VIP
Two running promotions on the Ontario site are dated, so check they are still live when you read this:
- 8% Weekly Cashback on net casino losses, paid as real money with no wagering, up to C$15,000 a week, running from 4 August to 2 December 2026.
- Weekly Reload Bonus, code RELOAD200: 50% up to C$200 plus 30 free spins, minimum deposit C$10, 30x wagering, from 31 August to 2 November 2026.
The cashback is the most player-friendly item on the page, because it arrives as withdrawable money rather than bonus funds. It is still a partial refund of losses, not a gain. The VIP program is by invitation only, and the FAQ gives no tiers or rewards.

Deposits and withdrawals at BetNova
The Ontario site works in Canadian dollars and takes no crypto. Its footer shows Interac, Visa and Mastercard, and the withdrawal FAQ adds wire transfer. The full cashier sits behind the login, so other methods may exist but are not published.
- Deposits: Interac, Visa or Mastercard, minimum C$10, with no BetNova fee. Your card issuer may still charge a cash-advance fee.
- Withdrawals: minimum C$10; wire transfer is the method named. The terms do not confirm Interac for withdrawals.
- Processing: payouts are made as soon as reasonably possible, subject to internal processing of up to five business days.
- Limits: BetNova sets no maximum daily withdrawal, though payment processors may cap amounts. Maximum winnings are C$150,000 per day.
Verification and the closed loop
Every player must upload ID, proof of address and proof of ownership of the payment method. Withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with, and each deposit must be wagered at least once before it can be withdrawn. Upload them before your first cash-out request rather than after it. Note also the dormancy rule: after 365 days without activity an account becomes dormant, and an unclaimed positive balance is donated after a 28-day notice period.
The BetNova app and mobile site
The Ontario site has a BetNova app on the Canadian App Store and a listing on Google Play under com.betnova.canada, even though the FAQ still describes the Android version as coming soon. Both sit alongside the browser site, which works on phones as well. For Alberta, only browser play at playbetnova.ca is confirmed; no app for that site could be found.
An app registered for Ontario serves players inside Ontario, because the terms require you to be physically located in the province. Download it only through the official store listings.
Is BetNova legit? Licence, owner and safety
Yes. Both Canadian BetNova sites are regulated, and the Ontario terms name the company, its Toronto address and its registration numbers.
- Ontario: Goldrush Canada Limited, 4789 Yonge Street, Suite 407, Toronto, Ontario, M2N 0G3, company registration 1442415-8. AGCO registration OPIG1372172 was issued on 25 August 2025, and the company appears in the iGaming Ontario directory of regulated operators.
- Alberta: Goldrush Alberta Limited is on the AGLC list of iGaming registrants, with registration running to 13 July 2027. The Alberta iGaming Corporation lists the site as "BetNova Sportsbook & Casino" at playbetnova.ca.
Both companies belong to the Goldrush Gaming Group, which BetNova's About page places in South Africa. A search of AGCO news found no regulator action against Goldrush Canada or BetNova as of October 2026. The site names no independent testing lab.
Being regulated means the Ontario site must follow the AGCO's standards, and Ontario players have a regulator to turn to if a dispute with the operator is not resolved.
Bet Nova casino at betnova.casino: not the same site
The name bet nova casino also matches betnova.casino, a one-page site with Login and Registration buttons. It is not the Goldrush casino. Its buttons redirect through affiliate trackers to other, unrelated casinos, and the page has no cashier, terms, licence page or game lobby of its own. Its text claims a 2025 launch, ownership by Isla Roja Limited and an Anjouan licence, and promotes a 50% free bet on the first deposit, but it shows no licence seal, validator link or terms to support any of it.
If you want the regulated BetNova, the only addresses are betnova.ca in Ontario and playbetnova.ca in Alberta. Check the address bar before you type a password.
BetNova login, sign-up and support
Opening an account on the Ontario site follows the regulated pattern:
- Be physically located in Ontario: the terms allow the service only to players inside the province.
- Be 19 or older.
- Register, then upload ID, proof of address and proof that you own your payment method.
- Enter a welcome code with a qualifying deposit, if you want one of the four bonuses.
If your BetNova login works but play does not, location is the first thing to check: a player who travels outside Ontario cannot use the Ontario site from there. In Alberta, the minimum age is 18, which is the province's iGaming minimum; the site's own terms could not be read.

The Alberta site dates from 2026, the year the province's regulated market opened on 13 July. Its promotions may well differ from Ontario's, so do not assume the codes above apply there. Players in Quebec, British Columbia and the other provinces cannot use either site: the Ontario terms exclude everywhere outside Ontario, and the Alberta site is registered for Alberta only. BetNova casino review verdict: who it suits
For an Ontario player who mainly spins slots, BetNova has a lot going for it: a Toronto-registered operator, a public AGCO number, Interac from C$10, 34 studios and cashback paid without wagering while the promotion runs. The four codes give flexibility, since you can take a small one first.
The welcome codes are less generous than the C$2,500 headline suggests. The 7-day window and the cap at twice the bonus limit what a player can realistically get out of them, and live-casino fans gain nothing from them at 0%. French speakers and players who want crypto will find nothing for them here.
