The BetMGM promo for new casino players differs by province. In Ontario, you get a $100 Casino Bonus for registering, before you deposit anything, followed by a 100% match on your first deposit up to $3,000. In Alberta, the same match comes with 1,000 Bonus Spins instead of the free $100.
Neither package needs a code. Below, each piece is worked through in Canadian dollars, followed by the regular promotions, the referral question and the terms that decide what you can withdraw. Everything is as of October 2026, from BetMGM's own offer pages; BetMGM serves no other province.
The BetMGM new user promo in Ontario
Ontario's offer comes in two steps:
- A $100 Casino Bonus on registration. You have 3 days to claim it and 7 days to wager it 10 times, so C$1,000 of eligible bets. Its winnings stay locked until you make a deposit and finish the 10x.
- A 100% Deposit Match on the first deposit, up to $3,000 in Casino Bonus, wagered 15 times. The offer expires 30 days after registration, and you have 14 days from the qualifying deposit to finish.
The minimum deposit is $10. The welcome offer requires a completed registration and identity check, and the bonus is paid as Casino Bonus, not cash.
The free $100 is best seen as a trial run. Suppose you finish the 10x with C$60 left over: that balance still cannot leave the account until you make a deposit, so it is a way to try the lobby rather than money in hand. Because the 7-day clock is tight, take it only when you have time to play it through that week. The deposit match that follows runs on its own deadlines: 30 days from registration to deposit, then 14 days to finish the wagering.
The Alberta version: match plus 1,000 spins
Alberta's offer, valid since the market opened on 13 July 2026, keeps the 100% match up to $3,000 at 15x and drops the registration bonus. In its place come 1,000 Bonus Spins at $0.10 each, credited as 100 a day for 10 days, on five Pragmatic Play slots: Sugar Rush, Sweet Bonanza, Gates of Olympus, Big Bass Bonanza and Big Bass Splash. Spin winnings must be wagered 5 times within 7 days, and a day's spins that you do not use are gone; they do not roll over. At face value the spins are worth $100 in stakes, spread over ten days.
What 15x means for your BetMGM casino bonus
| First deposit | Casino Bonus | Wagering on slots (100%) | Same on live dealer (20%) | Same on RNG blackjack (10%) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| C$10 | C$10 | C$150 | C$750 | C$1,500 |
| C$100 | C$100 | C$1,500 | C$7,500 | C$15,000 |
| C$500 | C$500 | C$7,500 | C$37,500 | C$75,000 |
| C$3,000 | C$3,000 | C$45,000 | C$225,000 | C$450,000 |
Slots, jackpot slots, scratch cards and fixed-odds games count fully, which makes 15x manageable at small deposits. Baccarat, roulette, craps, sic bo, crash games and about 25 named slots count nothing toward the match, so check the excluded list before you pick a game.

BetMGM bonus code Canada, referral bonus and other offers
There is no BetMGM bonus code Canada players need for the casino welcome offer; both provinces list it with no code. A "$10 for $200" deal does not match the BetMGM casino promo terms we sourced in October 2026, which are the ones described above. If you see that wording, check which BetMGM product and which date it refers to before relying on it.
Does BetMGM have a referral bonus? Not among the Ontario or Alberta casino promotions we sourced, so a betmgm referral bonus or a betmgm refer a friend code cannot be confirmed here. Keep in mind the AGCO's March 2025 penalty of $110,000, issued because marketing affiliates had offered cash for new BetMGM accounts in 2024. An offer of money for signing up through someone's link is exactly the kind the regulator acted on.
Terms that bite
- The deposit lock: your deposit, the bonus and its winnings are restricted until 15x is complete, and withdrawing the deposit early forfeits the bonus and everything it won.
- Short clocks: 3 days to claim Ontario's $100, 7 days to wager it, and 14 days to finish the match.
- Excluded games: table classics and a list of named slots do not count at all.
- Spins that vanish: Alberta's unused daily spins do not carry over.
If those rules clash with how you play, skip the match. Our full BetMGM review covers payments, games and licensing, and our responsible gambling page explains how to set limits before you take any bonus.
