Is CSGO Empire legit? It names an operator and states a licence number, but we could not verify that licence on a public register, the site states no minimum age in years, and its full list of blocked countries could not be read, so whether it accepts Canadians rests only on the absence of a stated restriction. It is also not an online casino in the usual sense. CSGO Empire is a Counter-Strike 2 skin and crypto gambling site where players bet with Empire Coins on roulette, coinflip, cases and match betting. There are no slots and no live dealer tables.
The site is run by Moonrail Limited B.V. in Curacao, under licence OGL/2024/1183/0869, and its founder dates its start to 2015. Deposits and withdrawals use skins traded with other players, Bitcoin or Ethereum, and one Empire Coin is worth approximately $0.614, a figure the site gives in US dollars. This review explains how that works for a Canadian player, using what the site's own FAQ and footer say as of October 2026, and where the risks lie.
Is CSGO Empire legit? Who runs it
The footer names Moonrail Limited B.V., registration number 148182, Korporaalweg 10, Curacao, and says the site is "licensed and regulated by the laws of Curacao" under OGL/2024/1183/0869. No register link appears with it, so the licence could not be checked on a public register as of October 2026.
- Started: the FAQ quotes the founder: "In 2015, I started building CSGOEmpire". The footer reads 2016 - 2026.
- Domains: csgoempire.com, with csgoempire.io listed as an official mirror.
- Fairness: games are described as provably fair, and house edges are disclosed per game.
- Regulator actions: none found.
So the answer to whether CSGO Empire is legit is only partly settled: there is a named company, a stated licence number and published game maths, but the licence could not be verified on a public register, and it is from Curacao, not from any Canadian province, and its terms page could not be read. A Curacao licence gives a player no access to provincial complaint routes, so any dispute would have to go through the site itself or the Curacao regulator.
How CSGO Empire works: skins, coins and crypto
Everything on CSGO Empire is priced in Empire Coins, the site's own virtual currency. The FAQ puts one coin at approximately $0.614. You get coins in one of two ways:
- Skins: you list Counter-Strike 2 skins on the site's peer-to-peer marketplace, where other players buy them at auction, and you receive coins. The FAQ says a deposit should not take longer than a few minutes, and no trading fee is charged.
- Crypto: you deposit Bitcoin or Ethereum.
Withdrawals run the same routes in reverse: buying skins from other players with coins, or cashing out in crypto. There is no Canadian dollar account, and Interac and cards are not among the methods the FAQ describes.
Skins feel like game items, but on this site they work as money. A skin that is lost in a bet is gone, and its value is whatever another player would have paid for it.
The auction model also shapes what you get. When you deposit, the coins credited depend on what other players bid for your skin; when you withdraw into skins, you are buying items other players have listed. Prices can therefore move between the moment you deposit and the moment you cash out, separately from any bet.
The games and their house edge
CSGO Empire runs its own in-house, provably fair games rather than titles from outside studios. Its FAQ gives the key numbers:
| Game | What the FAQ discloses |
|---|---|
| Roulette | Maximum bet 100,000 Empire Coins |
| Coinflip | 0.5% fee |
| Cases | 8.8% house edge |
| Match betting | Betting on Counter-Strike matches |
The spread matters. Coinflip's 0.5% fee is small, while cases keep 8.8% of what is staked over the long run, more than seventeen times as much. Match betting has no house edge figure in the FAQ. No overall payout percentage is published, and no game count is given, since the site is built around a handful of formats rather than a lobby.
Provably fair means each result can be checked against published data after the fact. It shows a game was not altered; it does not reduce the house edge.

CSGO Empire codes, Free Case and referrals
Looking for CSGO Empire codes? The site's pages list no promo code and no welcome bonus. The features it does name are:
- Free Case: listed on the homepage; its conditions are not set out on the pages read.
- Rewards: listed on the homepage, without published rules.
- Referrals: the site has a referral feature, but the pages read do not explain how referral codes or rewards work.
A code offered on another website cannot be checked against CSGO Empire's own pages. Because there are no published bonus terms at all, there is nothing to calculate: no wagering, no caps and no expiry dates to compare.
Withdrawals and the 4,500-coin KYC line
Identity checks on CSGO Empire are tied to how much you take out. The FAQ says you must verify your identity to withdraw more than 4,500 Empire Coins in total. At approximately $0.614 a coin, that is about $2,763. After verification, withdrawals are unlimited.
- Who checks: verification runs through Checkin or Shuftipro.
- What you send: one proof of identity and one proof of address.
- Other triggers: large deposits and suspicion can also prompt a check.
- Large crypto withdrawals: amounts above the hot-wallet balance, about $3 million, may take "a couple of days".
Standard withdrawal times, minimums and crypto fees are not published on the pages read. Prices in the FAQ are in US dollars and coins; nothing is quoted in Canadian dollars.

What the site does not tell you
CSGO Empire's FAQ is detailed on game maths and verification, but several things a Canadian player would want to know are missing from the pages that could be read in October 2026. The terms page did not render, and the main domain did not connect from Spain, so the review relies on the FAQ and footer. The gaps:
- a full list of blocked countries, beyond the USA as an example;
- a minimum age in years;
- support channels and opening hours;
- standard withdrawal times, minimums and crypto network fees;
- rules for the Free Case, Rewards and referrals;
- any deposit or loss limit tool.
Each of these is scored as missing, not assumed. If CSGO Empire publishes them, this review will be updated.
Empire Coins in dollars
Because every bet and every limit is set in coins, it helps to translate them. Using the rate the FAQ gives, approximately $0.614 per coin, in US dollars:
| Amount in coins | What it is | Approximate value |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | One Empire Coin | $0.614 |
| 4,500 | Total withdrawals before identity checks are required | $2,763 |
| 100,000 | Maximum roulette bet | $61,400 |
The rate is described as approximate, and skin prices on the marketplace are set by what other players bid, so the value you get in or out can differ from these figures. Converting to Canadian dollars adds an exchange rate on top. Think of your budget in dollars first, then in coins, never the other way round.
Mobile access and support
CSGO Empire works in a browser. There is no CSGO Empire app on the Canadian App Store, and an Android app could not be confirmed. Phone users reach the same site, and the same games, through Safari or Chrome.
No live chat, email address, phone line or hours could be confirmed on the pages read, and no language list either, so French support cannot be promised. That gap matters on a site where verification and large withdrawals depend on contact with staff. Find the contact route inside your account before you deposit anything, and keep a written record of every message about a withdrawal or an identity check.
Responsible gambling and age
The FAQ describes one tool, a "Take a break" self-lock. It can block gambling, or ban the account entirely, for 24 hours, 3, 7, 15 or 30 days, and longer bans are available through support. No deposit or loss limits are described.
On age, the FAQ says only that "we don't allow minors to gamble". No minimum age is stated, and identity checks, which confirm age as well as identity and location, are triggered by thresholds rather than at sign-up.
A provincial self-exclusion covers only that province's regulated sites and does not reach CSGO Empire. Help lines for every province are on our responsible gambling page.
Where Canadians can use CSGO Empire
| Province | Status |
|---|---|
| Ontario | No Canadian restriction found; not registered with the AGCO or iGaming Ontario |
| Alberta | Not registered with the AGLC or the Alberta iGaming Corporation |
| Quebec and other provinces | Same site, Curacao licence only |
The FAQ names only the USA as an example of a blocked country and does not publish a full list, so Canadian access rests on the absence of a restriction rather than a stated welcome. Ontario's and Alberta's regulated markets, the latter live since 13 July 2026, cover only registered sites, and the other provinces have a provincially run site. Provincial age rules are 19 in most provinces and 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. See playing in Canada for the full picture.
Who CSGO Empire suits
CSGO Empire is built for adult Counter-Strike players who already hold skins or crypto and understand that both carry money value. For that player, the disclosed house edges and provably fair results are real points in its favour, and the low coinflip fee stands out against the cases.
- Consider it if you are an adult who already trades CS2 skins, understands crypto transfers and wants games whose edge is stated up front.
- Skip it if you want slots, live dealers, a welcome bonus, Canadian dollars or Interac.
- Be careful with cases, the highest-edge game listed, and with large wins before you have verified your identity.
- Use the self-lock if play starts to feel like chasing; the shortest break is 24 hours and the longest set option is 30 days.
