This MelBet online casino review starts with an unusual admission: we could not get past MelBet's front door. On 23 October 2026, every request to melbet.com and melbet.org, from Spain, from Romania and through a relay in the United States, was answered with "Access denied! This website is not available in your country". Even the Wayback Machine's archived copies of the rules and about pages show the same block.
So this page reports the handful of facts that could be sourced and says plainly what could not: who runs MelBet, which regulator licenses it and whether it accepts Canadian players at all. It also gives Canadian players a practical way to judge the brand themselves. Nothing here is borrowed from other review sites.
MelBet online casino: the facts on record
Five things could be confirmed from MelBet's own block page, the App Store and archived links. That is the whole list:
- Domains: melbet.com and melbet.org.
- Age of the brand: the block page carries the line "© 2015 - 2026. All rights reserved and protected by law." A copyright line is not a launch date on a register, but it is the only date MelBet itself shows.
- Email: [email protected].
- Phone: +442038077601.
- Apps: no MelBet app turned up in a search of the Canadian App Store, while an archived MelBet page from December 2025 carried a link to an Android APK file hosted outside Google Play.
Everything else that normally fills a review, from the welcome offer to the withdrawal times, sits behind a page we could not open.
Why the site would not open
A country block is a deliberate choice by a casino: its servers check where a visitor seems to be and refuse some locations. The message MelBet shows does not name the countries it accepts, so it tells us nothing about Canada either way. A Canadian visitor may see the full site, or the same refusal.
We also tried the route that often works for blocked casinos, the Wayback Machine's archive. Copies of MelBet's rules and about pages from 2025 and 2026 exist, but each one captured the block page rather than the text behind it. No licence seal could be checked, because none was visible.
The honest next step is a check from a Canadian connection. That check would look for four things in order: the licence and company named in the footer, the clause listing restricted countries and provinces, the bonus terms, and the cashier's list of Canadian payment methods with their limits.
There will be no score until facts replace the blanks.
MelBet official website, and the domains that are not
The MelBet official website, as far as the brand's own pages show, sits on two domains: melbet.com and melbet.org. Those are the addresses that returned the block page, and the domain behind the archived Android download link.
Two other addresses look official and are not. Anyone typing melbet ca may land on melbetca.com or melbet.ca, but both are affiliate or for-sale domains, not the casino. A site that uses the MelBet name and logo but sits on a different domain may simply be advertising, or may be worse. Before entering a password or card number anywhere, read the address bar.
Whether you type casino melbet or melbet official into a search bar, the address you land on is what counts. The table shows what each address is, as of October 2026:
| Address | What it is |
|---|---|
| melbet.com | MelBet's own domain; showed a country block page |
| melbet.org | MelBet's own domain; showed the same block |
| melbetca.com | Affiliate or for-sale domain, not the casino |
| melbet.ca | Affiliate or for-sale domain, not the casino |
Licence and operator: unconfirmed
No operator company, registered address or licence number appeared on any MelBet page we could read. Other review sites name a licence and a company for the brand; we could not match either to MelBet's own pages or to a regulator's register, so we do not repeat them here.
That gap matters more than any bonus. The licence decides who you can complain to if a withdrawal is refused, and the operator named in the terms is the company that holds your money. For any offshore casino, a reasonable check takes three steps:
- Find the company name and licence number in the site's footer and in its terms, and make sure they are the same.
- Open the regulator's own register or validator, not a link the casino supplies without a seal, and search for that company.
- Confirm the register lists the domain you are using.
If any of the three fails, treat the site as unlicensed for your purposes.
Why not simply repeat what other reviews say? Because a licence claim is only useful if it can be traced to the regulator, and an operator name is only useful if it matches the company in the terms you accept. Copying an unchecked claim would make this page look more complete while making it less reliable.
Download MelBet app: iOS and the Android APK
People who want to download the MelBet app face two different answers.
- MelBet iOS app: a search of the Canadian App Store found no MelBet app. There is nothing to install on an iPhone through the official route.
- MelBet download for Android: an archived MelBet page from December 2025 links to a file called melbet.apk on a separate download host, not to a Google Play listing.
A MelBet app download as an APK means installing software that has not passed through an app store's review. Android has to be told to allow apps from unknown sources before it will install such a file, and that warning exists for a reason: the file can ask for wide permissions on your phone, and you cannot easily tell who built it. With the operator and licence unconfirmed, we would not install it. A phone browser is the lower-risk way to look at any casino you are unsure of.
Bonuses: nothing to quote
No welcome offer, wagering requirement, promo code or free-spins deal could be read from MelBet's pages. Codes that circulate online cannot be checked against terms we cannot open, so we do not list any. Our MelBet bonus page explains what the terms of any offer should say, and how to work out its real cost in dollars once you can see it. Until then, the safest assumption is that no MelBet bonus exists for you, because none has been shown to.
The casino publishes no welcome-offer terms we could source, so we show none.
Deposits, withdrawals and the MelBet withdrawal problem question
Is there a MelBet withdrawal problem? We cannot confirm one, and we cannot rule one out. No payment method, minimum, maximum, pending period, withdrawal time or fee is on record, and no verification rule either.
A withdrawal complaint usually comes down to one of a handful of clauses. These are the ones to find in any casino's terms before the first deposit, with the kind of answer that should reassure you:
| Clause to find | A reassuring answer | A worrying answer |
|---|---|---|
| Withdrawal methods | Interac or the same method you deposited with | Withdrawals only by a method you have never used |
| Currency | CAD account | Foreign currency with conversion on both legs |
| Verification | A clear list of documents and when they are needed | "Additional checks may be required at any time" with no detail |
| Limits | Daily, weekly or monthly caps in numbers | No caps stated, or caps set at the casino's discretion |
| Bonus link | Bonus funds kept apart from your deposit | Any bonus breach can void all winnings |
None of these could be checked for MelBet. A casino whose terms you cannot read is one where you cannot know which column you are in until you try to withdraw.

Contacting MelBet
The block page lists two contact routes: email to [email protected] and a phone number, +442038077601. Whether live chat exists, what hours support keeps and whether French is available are all unknown. The number is written in international format, so check what your phone plan charges before calling it rather than writing.
If you are deciding whether to sign up, a written question to the email address is a fair test. Ask which company operates the site for Canadian players, which licence covers it, and whether your province is accepted. A clear, specific reply is a good sign; a vague one, or none, answers the question too.
Where Canadians stand: provinces and age
MelBet's position in each province is unknown. What is known is how Canadian rules work, which gives a firm test:
- Ontario: a legal private casino is registered with the AGCO and has an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario. The province's own option is OLG.
- Alberta: since 13 July 2026, a legal private casino is registered with the AGLC and works under an agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation. PlayAlberta is the provincial site.
- Quebec and the other provinces: each runs its own site, such as Loto-Québec. Offshore casinos also serve these provinces, under foreign licences, and are not licensed by any province.
Players must be 19 in most provinces, or 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. MelBet's own age rule is not on record. Our guide to playing in Canada covers each province in more detail.
Responsible play, and what would change this review
MelBet's responsible-gambling tools are not on record, so we cannot say whether it offers deposit limits, time-outs or self-exclusion. Provincial self-exclusion schemes cover only the regulated sites of their own province, so they would not reach an offshore MelBet account. If you play anywhere you cannot set a limit inside the account, ask your bank whether it can block or cap gambling payments. Provincial help lines, all free, are listed on our responsible gambling page.
A score becomes possible when the following can be sourced, roughly in this order: the operating company and a licence that matches a register; a statement on Canadian provinces; bonus terms with wagering and caps; and a cashier page with methods, limits and times. Our method explains how each fact feeds the six sub-scores. Until then, the reviews page lists casinos whose terms are on record.
Games and providers
The casino publishes no game counts or provider list we could source.
