Sportsbet casino play in Ontario deserves a straight answer first. Sportsbet.io does not list Canada or any province among its restricted jurisdictions, but it holds no Ontario registration and is not part of the province's regulated market. Its only licence comes from the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority, issued to EZ Spins Ltd.
The brand has been a sportsbook first since it launched in 2016, with a casino section beside it. For Canadians its strongest published facts are about money: a dedicated CAD help page, Interac deposits from C$10 and Interac withdrawals of up to C$25,000 per transaction. The casino side is thin on detail, with no casino welcome offer, game count or provider list on the pages we checked. This Sportsbet casino review covers what is published as of October 2026 and says plainly what is not.
What an offshore licence means, province by province
Canada splits online gambling by province. Ontario's regulated market requires AGCO registration and an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario. Alberta's, live since 13 July 2026, requires AGLC registration and an agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation. In the other provinces, the legal home of online casino play is the provincially run site. An offshore operator like Sportsbet.io sits outside all of these: no province licenses it, and no provincial regulator handles complaints about it.
| Province | Sportsbet.io's own terms | Provincial licence | Legal age |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ontario | Not on the restricted list | None, not AGCO-registered | 19 |
| Alberta | Not on the restricted list | None, not AGLC-registered | 18 |
| Quebec | Not on the restricted list; French option on the site | None | 18 |
| Manitoba | Accepted | None | 18 |
| Other provinces and territories | Accepted, with a CAD payments page | None | 19 |
The terms themselves set the age at over 18. Where your province sets 19, the provincial age is the one to respect. One clause shows why the restricted list matters: if a player from a restricted jurisdiction opens an account, winnings are confiscated (T&C 3.3). Canada was not on that list on 23 October 2026, but check it again before you deposit. More on the provincial split is in our guide to playing in Canada.
Bonuses: a sportsbook welcome offer, no casino deal
The only welcome offer on the homepage is for the sportsbook: a 100% bonus up to 300 USDT on the first deposit. Bets at odds of 1.50 or higher count towards it, and rewards expire after 72 hours unless stated otherwise. We found no casino-specific welcome offer and no other promotions listed.
The pages we could read did not give the wagering multiple, minimum deposit, maximum bet or game rules for that bonus, so we cannot turn it into a dollar example. Read the full bonus terms before opting in. A casino player can simply ignore the offer, because it is built around sports bets, not slots.
Sportsbet casino games: what is and is not published
Sportsbet.io does not publish a game count, a category split or a provider list on the pages we checked, so we score games at the floor rather than guess. What the terms do say:
- products are supplied by companies certified by "recognised test laboratories", none of them named
- some games are provably fair, a crypto-casino format whose round results the player can check
Without a named testing lab or certificate, there is nothing to verify against, and no published payout percentage either. Look at each game's information panel for its return-to-player figure before you play, and remember that every casino game keeps a house edge.
The casino publishes no game counts or provider list we could source.
Interac and crypto: deposits and withdrawals in CAD
The CAD help page is the most detailed part of the site for Canadians. Interac works in both directions:
- Deposits: from C$10 to C$10,000, credited instantly.
- Withdrawals: up to C$25,000 per transaction, processed within 5 minutes once the payment is confirmed.
- Fees: not stated on the page, so ask support before a large transfer.
Crypto covers 13 or more coins, including BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, LTC, XRP and SOL. Minimums start at 0.25 USDT or USDC and 0.000007 BTC. Very large wins may be paid at no more than 1 Million USDT per week (T&C 6.10), a ceiling few players will meet but one that exists.
Two conditions come before any payout. Each deposit must be wagered once before it can be withdrawn, and identity checks may start once you pass a set threshold, covered next.
What the Interac limits mean in practice
Because the cap applies per transaction, a C$30,000 balance would leave in at least two Interac payments, for example C$25,000 and C$5,000. On the way in, anything above C$10,000 has to be split across several deposits. Neither limit is a daily or weekly cap; the pages we read set no such period limit for Interac, apart from the weekly ceiling on very large wins.
Verification, inactivity and other fine print
The terms say verification may be required once cumulative deposits reach $10,000 USD, or once crypto withdrawals reach $10,000. Have ID ready anyway, rather than waiting for a large win to trigger a check at the worst moment.
The once-through rule on deposits is simple but easy to forget. Deposit C$200, play C$50 of it and try to withdraw, and you still need another C$150 of bets before that money can leave the account. Plan a withdrawal only after your total bets have passed your total deposits.
The clause most likely to cost a casual player money is the inactivity charge. After an account has been inactive for more than 12 months, a 5% administrative cost is taken from the balance every month (T&C 3.8). A C$1,000 balance left untouched would lose C$50 in the first month the charge applies, and keep shrinking after that. Withdraw what you do not plan to use.
Mobile play and the app question
A provincially regulated Ontario app is not something Sportsbet.io offers: it has no Ontario registration, so no version of it sits in iGaming Ontario's market. Beyond that, the pages we read did not describe an iOS app, an Android app or a mobile site, so we cannot confirm any of them and score mobile at the floor.
If you see a Sportsbet.io app offered for download, check that the link comes from the brand's own sportsbet.io domain before installing anything.
Is Sportsbet.io legit? Owner, licence and record
- Operator: EZ Spins Ltd, registration number 16159, PO Box 1212 Hamchako, Mutsamudu, Autonomous Island of Anjouan ANJ901, Union of Comoros.
- Licence: Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority, number ALSI-202509076-FI2. The Anjouan validator showed it as valid on 23 October 2026.
- Launched: 2016, by the site's own account.
- Regulator actions: none found.
One small inconsistency: the footer prints the licence number as ALSI-202509076-F12, with a figure one where the validator has the letter I. It points to the same licence, but use the validator link rather than the footer text if you check it yourself. The site names no parent group or sister casinos.
An Anjouan licence is an offshore permit. It gives you no access to Canadian provincial complaint routes, which is the main reason the safety score stops at 5.
Support hours and French
Live chat is staffed daily from 08:00 to 00:30 GMT, which is 4:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Toronto while daylight time is in force; a chat bot answers around the clock. Email goes to [email protected], and no phone line is published.
The site has a Français option among its 12 languages, alongside English, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, German and others. French-speaking chat agents are not mentioned, so expect a French interface and plan for support in English.
Because several points are not published, a short message to support before your first deposit is worth the time. Useful questions: whether Interac withdrawals carry any fee, which deposit limits, time-outs or self-exclusion options the account offers, and what wagering applies to the sportsbook welcome bonus. Keep the reply, since a written answer from support is the closest thing to a published rule.
Sportsbet casino login: finding the right site and signing up
The first step is making sure you are on the right brand. Similar names can point to other companies or products. This page covers only Sportsbet.io, run by EZ Spins Ltd on the sportsbet.io domain; if the brand you have in mind is another company, nothing here applies to it. We found no separate Sportsbet CA site from this operator: Canadian players use sportsbet.io and pick CAD as their currency.
- Check your province's legal age (19, or 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec) and confirm Canada is still off the restricted list.
- Register with details that match your ID, since a check can come later.
- Choose CAD and deposit by Interac, from C$10, or by crypto.
- Wager each deposit once before you try to withdraw it.
For a Sportsbet casino login problem, the routes the casino lists are live chat, the 24/7 bot and email.
Responsible-gambling tools
The pages we checked did not list deposit limits, time-outs or self-exclusion tools, so we cannot tell you which controls Sportsbet.io offers. Ask support what is available before you deposit, and set any limit it offers on day one.
A provincial self-exclusion applies to that province's regulated sites alone, and Sportsbet.io is outside its reach. If you have excluded yourself through a provincial scheme, opening an account here works against that decision. Free, confidential help for each province is listed on our responsible gambling page.
Who Sportsbet.io suits
Sportsbet.io fits a sports bettor who also plays the odd casino game, wants Interac or crypto, and values fast, large withdrawals more than a provincial licence. For that player the CAD page answers most practical questions.
Pure casino players have little reason to start here: there is no casino bonus, and the site publishes no game count, providers or testing lab. Ontario and Alberta players with access to their regulated markets give up provincial protection by choosing it. Our review method explains how these gaps produce a 3.8, and the full list of brands is in our casino reviews.
