Ontario's regulator allows casino bonuses to be advertised only on the casino's own site (AGCO Standard 2.05), so we do not list this site's offer.

The casino's own offer, quoted from its terms as of 23 October 2026. 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec), terms apply; wagering must be met before bonus winnings can be withdrawn. Full bonus terms

Our verdict

Bally Bet suits players in Alberta or Ontario who want a provincially regulated casino with Interac in and out and support around the clock. Players anywhere else cannot use it: the site offers only those two provinces. Bonus hunters will find little to judge, since Ontario shows no public welcome offer and Alberta's up to C$500 reload hides its wagering behind a details link. No app and no game count were found, which holds those scores down.

A dash means the casino or regulator publishes nothing we could source. Facts are re-checked before every update.

Pros

  • Regulated in both provinces it serves: AGCO and iGaming Ontario, and AGLC with the Alberta iGaming Corporation
  • Interac e-Transfer for deposits and withdrawals, from C$10, with no fee charged by Bally's
  • Card withdrawals can arrive right away or within 24 hours, per the help centre
  • Live chat and email support 24/7, with separate Ontario and Alberta addresses
  • Full set of limit tools: deposit, loss and session limits, cool-off up to 3 months, self-exclusion

Cons

  • Only Alberta and Ontario: Quebec and the other provinces are not accepted
  • No public welcome offer in Ontario; Alberta's up to C$500 reload does not show its wagering up front
  • No App Store or Google Play link found on the pages read, and no game count published
  • English only, with no French support listed

Bally Bet Alberta and Bally Bet Ontario are the same website, play.ballybet.ca, split by a choice you make on arrival: pick ALBERTA or ONTARIO and the site loads that province's licence, terms and promotions. Behind both sits Bally's Canada Inc., a Toronto company that is part of Bally's Corporation.

That makes this Bally Bet casino review simpler to follow. There is no offshore Bally Bet for Canada, so there is no second set of rules to keep apart: ballybet.com is a US sportsbook with a state picker, not a Canadian casino. What changes between the two provinces is the regulator, the support address and the promotions. Every figure below comes from the Canadian site, its terms and its help centre, read on 23 October 2026, and from the iGaming Ontario and Alberta iGaming Corporation registers.

Bonuses: what each province shows

The promotions page changes with the province you pick, and as of October 2026 the two lists look quite different.

Alberta

The only first-deposit offer on the Alberta promotions page is an "Up to $500 Reload Bonus": make a first deposit of at least C$10, wager within 28 days on slots only, and receive up to C$500 in bonus back. The percentage returned and the wagering attached to that bonus money sit behind a "See details" link, so we cannot give a dollar example. Alberta also runs a Weekly 25% Playback up to C$100 in Bonus Money, which reaches its cap at C$400 of whatever the playback is measured on.

Ontario

No welcome offer is shown on the public Ontario promotions page, and the bonus rules page holds only general definitions. What is listed:

  • House of Jackpots: one entry for every C$150 of cash wagered on Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin.
  • Game of the Week Playback, up to C$150 in Bonus Money.
  • Bally Daily Picks.
  • A VIP scheme.
  • Jackpot Flash, an opt-in side jackpot at C$0.10 per spin.

Two of these cost more than they first appear to. A House of Jackpots entry needs C$150 of cash play, so ten entries mean C$1,500 wagered on one slot. And the Jackpot Flash opt-in adds C$0.10 to every spin while it is switched on: 500 spins add C$50 to what you stake, whether or not the side jackpot drops.

Does the US sports offer apply in Canada?

No offer of that shape appears on the Canadian site in either province as of October 2026. The US site, ballybet.com, advertised "Bet $10 and get $50 in Bonus Bets" on its sportsbook on 23 October 2026, but that is a US promotion for US states, not something a player in Alberta or Ontario can claim. The full breakdown is on our Bally Bet bonus page.

Games and studios

Bally Bet does not publish a game count, so we cannot say how many slots or live tables the lobby holds. It does name three studios in the lobby: Evolution, Pragmatic Play and Aristocrat.

Titles the casino features include:

  • Gates of Olympus 2500
  • Divine Fortune Gold
  • Lightning Link Tiki Fire
  • Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin, the game tied to the House of Jackpots draw
  • Bally Live Speed Baccarat, a branded live table

The lobby is the same list in both provinces on the pages we read. No testing-lab certificate or payout percentage is published on the site.

Deposits, withdrawals and payout times

The cashier is short and Canadian: Visa, Mastercard and Interac e-Transfer for deposits, plus Electronic Funds Transfer for withdrawals. Every method has a C$10 minimum and a C$10,000 maximum per transaction, and Bally's says it charges no fee on cards or Interac. Pre-paid cards are not accepted for deposits, and there is no crypto.

One inconsistency is worth knowing. The help centre's article on withdrawal statuses mentions Apple Pay and Trustly as alternatives, but neither appears in the articles that list deposit and withdrawal methods. Until the method pages add them, treat the four methods above as the confirmed list.

  • Visa and Mastercard withdrawals: may appear right away, up to 24 hours.
  • Interac e-Transfer: 30 minutes to 24 hours with Auto Deposit, 1 to 3 business days by email transfer.
  • EFT: 3 to 5 working days.

The help centre says most withdrawals are processed within 24 hours, and that once a withdrawal shows "Accepted" it can take up to 5 business days to reach the bank. Withdrawals of C$10,000 or more may wait until the next banking day and need extra information, and the Ontario terms let the operator limit withdrawals on any single day. If you play in Alberta and Ontario at different times, note that each province's payment rules are written in its own terms.

The per-transaction cap shapes large payouts. A balance above C$10,000 cannot leave in one request, and any single request of C$10,000 or more can be held to the next banking day while extra information is collected. In Ontario, the operator can also set a limit on what leaves in a single day.

Identity checks run through a risk-management provider that confirms age, identity and address, with documents asked for only if needed. Anti-money-laundering checks can happen at any time. Verification documents go to [email protected] in Ontario or [email protected] in Alberta.

Bally Bet mobile: app or browser

The casino runs in the browser at play.ballybet.ca, and that is the only mobile route the site confirms. On the pages we read, there was no link to a Bally Bet mobile app in the App Store or Google Play, so we cannot say whether a Canadian casino app exists or what it offers. If you find one, check that the publisher matches Bally's Canada before installing it.

Whichever device you use, the province choice comes first. The site asks you to pick Alberta or Ontario, and its terms only cover play from inside the province you choose.

Is Bally Bet legit? Licence, owner and safety

Yes. Bally Bet is regulated in both provinces it serves, and the operator is a Canadian company:

  • Operator: Bally's Canada Inc., principal place of business 20 Duncan Street, Toronto, Ontario M5H 3G8, Ontario company number 002808336.
  • Group: Bally's Corporation.
  • Ontario: registered with the AGCO and operating under an agreement with iGaming Ontario, number OPIG1242339 in the terms. Listed in the iGaming Ontario directory as Bally Bet.
  • Alberta: registered with AGLC and operating under an agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation, which lists Bally Bet Sportsbook & Casino. The AGLC registration runs to 5 August 2027.

We found no public regulator action against Bally's Canada in either province. No testing-lab seal is shown on the site. Provincial registration also gives players somewhere to turn: a complaint the operator does not resolve can be raised with the AGCO in Ontario or with AGLC in Alberta. The one sister brand named in both provincial directories is Monopoly Casino & Sportsbook, also run by Bally's.

Bally Bet customer service

Support is open 24/7 through two channels:

No phone line is published. The help centre is a single Zendesk site shared by both provinces, with articles on deposits, withdrawal options and what each withdrawal status means. The site is in English only, and no French support is listed, which matters for French-speaking players in either province.

Signing up and logging in

Registration starts with the province picker. Choose Alberta or Ontario, then register under that province's terms. Both sets of terms require players to be 19 or older; in Alberta that is stricter than the provincial legal age of 18, and the Alberta terms state it in capitals.

The first deposit can be as small as C$10. Age, identity and address are checked through a risk-management provider, with documents requested only if that check needs them. More detail on registration, verification and login problems is on our Bally Bet login guide.

Responsible-gambling tools

The responsible gaming page lists a full set of controls, the same in both provinces:

  • deposit limits by day, week or month;
  • loss limits;
  • session limits;
  • an account cool-off of up to 3 months;
  • self-exclusion.

Set them before your first deposit. Self-exclusion set with Bally Bet covers this site. A provincial self-exclusion covers only that province's regulated sites; it does not reach casinos in other provinces or offshore sites. Casino games carry a house edge whatever the limit settings. Free, confidential help for Ontario and Alberta players is listed on our responsible gambling page.

Bally Bet casino Alberta, Ontario and the rest of Canada

Bally Bet casino Canada is a two-province product. The table shows what changes when you switch the picker:

Players in Quebec, British Columbia, Manitoba and the other provinces cannot use the site at all: the picker offers only Alberta and Ontario, and there is no offshore version. Those provinces have their own provincially run casino sites. How the provinces divide the market is set out in our guide to playing in Canada.

Who Bally Bet suits

Bally Bet casino online fits a player in Alberta or Ontario who puts regulation and banking first. A Canadian operator, provincial registration in both provinces, Interac in both directions with no Bally's fee, and 24/7 chat are solid basics. Slot players in Alberta also get a first-deposit reload, though its wagering needs reading in full before you take it.

It is a weaker fit for bonus collectors, for French speakers, and for anyone who wants an app or a large published game library. Players outside the two provinces cannot sign up. How these points add up to the 5.3 score is explained in how we review, and the other casinos we cover are in our casino reviews.

Verdict on Bally Bet

Bally Bet suits players in Alberta or Ontario who want a provincially regulated casino with Interac in and out and support around the clock. Players anywhere else cannot use it: the site offers only those two provinces. Bonus hunters will find little to judge, since Ontario shows no public welcome offer and Alberta's up to C$500 reload hides its wagering behind a details link. No app and no game count were found, which holds those scores down.
