What the Alberta lossback is worth
The Alberta offer refunds losses rather than matching a deposit. Lose C$200 on qualifying games in your first 24 hours and you get C$200 in Bonus Money, which needs to be wagered just once, C$200 in bets, before it turns into cash. Each Bonus Spin is valued at C$0.20, so all 500 together have a face value of C$100. Excluded from the lossback are baccarat, roulette, sic bo, craps, Dragon Tiger, Dragon Dragon, Dragon Tiger Phoenix, Hi-Low, War, Football Studio, Football Dice, Back Bo and Fan Tan.

Wagering in plain dollars - Alberta site
Deposit C$100 and take the 100% match: the bonus is C$100. At x1 on the bonus (C$100), you must place C$100 in bets before bonus winnings can be withdrawn.
Worked from the published match, multiplier and wagering base source. Games that count less than 100% make the real figure higher.
Ontario site: Ontario's regulator allows casino bonuses to be advertised only on the casino's own site (AGCO Standard 2.05), so its offer is not listed here.
Games and the Lion Link slots
Here BetRivers gives us very little to report. Neither site publishes a game count, a provider list or a list of popular titles on the pages open to logged-out visitors. The only titles named in the public promotions are the Lion Link games used for both welcome-spin offers.
The Alberta welcome terms do list a set of excluded games, from roulette and baccarat to Back Bo and Fan Tan. Beyond that, we will not guess at numbers, studios or return rates. Neither site names a testing laboratory, beyond a terms clause referring to an "Independent Testing Laboratory", and no payout percentage is published. This gap is why games score 3 out of 10: a missing fact is never rewarded.

Deposits, withdrawals and payout times
The BetRivers help centre, which Rush Street Interactive shares between its US and Canadian sites, lists three withdrawal methods in its Canadian version:

The help centre does not say which province that article covers, so treat it as the Canadian guidance for both sites. The minimum for deposits and withdrawals is C$10, no maximum is published, and no cryptocurrency is offered. The cashier's deposit list is visible only after login.
Approval comes first. The terms describe a standard internal processing time that the casino estimates at 3 business days, and the Alberta terms add that its RushPay system auto-approves many withdrawals. The Alberta terms also require withdrawal accounts to be in your own name.
Two rules that cost money
- Requesting a withdrawal voids any active wagering bonus. Clear or give up a bonus before cashing out.
- An account with no play for 365 days becomes dormant, is then classed as abandoned, and is closed a month later.

The BetRivers app for Ontario and Alberta
Both BetRivers sites link to the same two store listings: an iOS app on the App Store and an Android app on Google Play, alongside full browser play. So the Ontario BetRivers app and the one Alberta players download come from the same listing, and what changes is the provincial site and rules you play under.

The BetRivers Ontario casino app and the Alberta version are open only to people physically present in that province: the Ontario site states "Must be 19+ and physically present in Ontario", and the Alberta site "Must be 18+ and physically present in Alberta". Licence, owner and safety
- Operator: Rush Street Interactive Canada, ULC, with its licence account address at McInnes Cooper Tower, Purdy's Wharf, 1969 Upper Water Street, Halifax, and a player-support mail address in Chicago.
- Group: Rush Street Interactive, listed on the New York Stock Exchange as RSI, which also runs PlaySugarHouse in the US and RushBet in Latin America. RSI has been online since 2012.
- Ontario: registered with the AGCO and operating under an agreement with iGaming Ontario since 2022; listed in the iGaming Ontario directory.
- Alberta: registered with the AGLC as an iGaming operator, with the registration running to 13 July 2027, and listed by the Alberta iGaming Corporation as a registered site. It launched on 13 July 2026, the day Alberta's regulated market opened.
- Regulator actions: none found in the sources checked, as of October 2026.
Neither site publishes its AGCO or AGLC registration number. Both carry standard verification rights: ID, a selfie, proof of address and proof of payment method may be requested, and the Alberta terms allow the casino to ask for notarized copies. If the company closes your Alberta account, only withdrawable cash is refunded, not money waiting in the Bonus Bank.
Support
Each province has its own email: [email protected] for Ontario and [email protected] for Alberta, with replies usually within 2 hours during normal business hours. Live chat is available on both, and the help centre carries a "24/7 Help" banner.
The phone number is less clear. The Patron Protection terms give 1-855-744-0152, while the help-centre footer shows 800-590-5498. Both sites are in English only, and no French service is mentioned, which matters less here because BetRivers does not accept players in Quebec.
Signing up
You must be 19 or older on the Ontario site, where the terms verify your age at registration, and 18 or older on the Alberta site. You must be in the province to play, and the welcome code (LIONLINK in Ontario, WELCOME or CASINOBACK in Alberta) goes with the first deposit. Once you play, Rush Rewards adds Loyalty Level Points and Bonus Store Points on every real-money wager. The Bonus Store sells free bets, wheel spins and bonus money for those points, and the Bonus Bank lets you choose when to activate bonus money. Responsible-gambling tools
Both sites carry a broad set of controls, with some differences:
- Ontario: deposit, spending, time and wagering limits; a Cool-Off self-suspension; RSI self-exclusion for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years; a login notification; and a link to BetGuard, iGaming Ontario's centralised self-exclusion.
- Alberta: daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits; spending or loss limits; hours-per-day time limits; wagering limits including a single-bet limit; Cool-Off of at least 72 hours; self-exclusion; the AGLC self-exclusion programme for 6 months or 1, 2 or 3 years; login notifications and a time-notification reminder.
BetGuard covers Ontario's regulated sites, and the AGLC programme is Alberta's provincial scheme; neither reaches the other province or offshore casinos. For a player in Alberta, the BetRivers online casino Alberta site has a first offer with very light wagering: first-day losses refunded as Bonus Money at 1X, plus small daily spins for logging in. For an Ontario player, the spin package is larger but depends on reaching loyalty levels, and the terms quoted do not give a spin value.
Either way, BetRivers online casino play comes with regulated protection, fast PayPal and Interac payouts and store apps.
