Casino KatsuBet built a Canadian front door, with En-CA and Fr-CA versions of the site and Interac, iDebit and Instadebit logos, yet as of October 2026 its own terms keep Canadians out. The en-CA Terms and Conditions effective from 15 June 2026 place 'Canada (all provinces by IP)' in Group A of the 'Main Restricted Territories', whose players 'are strictly prohibited from accessing the website and playing any real money games'.

So this is a status page rather than a scored review. It explains what KatsuBet casino online was, when and how the rule changed, how the terms treat a remaining balance, and what Canadians can do now. A casino that bars every province cannot be rated for Canadian players, so there is no score.

What Casino KatsuBet was

KatsuBet's homepage says the casino launched in 2020 and runs 'under the license of Curacao', without printing a licence number there. The en-CA terms do not name the company behind the site; they send disputes to arbitration in Curaçao under Curaçao civil procedure rules and set the minimum age at 18. Among its game studios the homepage lists Microgaming, BGaming, Endorphina, Amatic and BetSoft.

A Curaçao licence is not a Canadian one. KatsuBet is absent from the regulated-casino list that iGaming Ontario publishes (checked 28 October 2026), and no Canadian province licenses offshore sites of this kind.

KatsuBet Canada: what changed on 15 June 2026

The older rules treated Canada like most markets. A copy of the en-CA terms archived by the Wayback Machine on 11 March 2026, last updated 25 February 2026, limited Canadians in only two ways: the Vikings video slot was unavailable, and games from NYX could not be played.

The current terms (version 1.0, effective and last updated 15 June 2026) swapped that for a blanket rule. Their 'Main Restricted Territories' section puts Australia, 'Canada (all provinces by IP)' and twenty other countries in Group A, whose players may neither access the website nor play for real money. The live en-CA terms still carried the clause when re-read on 28 October 2026.

Why the Canadian pages still advertise bonuses

KatsuBet has not tidied up its Canadian pages, so they say one thing and the terms another:

PageWhat it shows (October 2026)
en-CA homepage1st deposit bonus of 100% up to C$400 + 100 free spins; a High Roller bonus of 50% up to C$4500; a crypto bonus of 75 free spins
en-CA bonus terms'Interac Exclusive Bonus' of 500 FS + C$6000 for Canadian players, 45x wagering, C$2 max bet
en-CA general termsCanada barred 'by IP', in all provinces, from site access and real-money play

The general terms decide the matter. Their Restricted Countries Policy says bonuses are not available to players from restricted countries and that bonus winnings issued to them are 'automatically considered void'. KatsuBet casino real money play is closed to Canadian IPs whatever the deposit, so there is no KatsuBet casino $1 deposit route either. A KatsuBet 35 free spins deal does not match the en-CA banners, which show 75 and 100 spins, and none of those can be claimed from Canada as of October 2026.

Money left in a KatsuBet account

The terms have no special procedure for players caught by the Canada rule. These are the clauses that apply to any restricted or terminated account:

  • After a suspension or termination, a player 'may remain entitled to the return of legitimate and undisputed funds', subject to all verification and compliance checks being finished; fees, chargebacks and improperly obtained bonuses can be deducted.
  • The minimum withdrawal is 20 EUR or the equivalent. Payouts are capped at 0.14 BTC a week and 0.56 BTC a month, and larger winning balances can be split into monthly instalments of up to 0.56 BTC.
  • Deposits must be wagered at least 3 times before connected winnings can be withdrawn, or 10 times on table and live games, as an anti-money-laundering rule.
  • An account left unused for 12 consecutive months becomes dormant, and while it holds money the casino can take a monthly fee of at least 25 EUR.

The terms give no fixed KatsuBet withdrawal time for these cases, only a 'reasonable timeframe' after checks. If support does not resolve a funds decision, the terms describe a formal complaints procedure, with complaints accepted free of charge within six months of the issue.

Is KatsuBet legal in Ontario, Alberta or Quebec?

No. To be legal in Ontario, a casino needs AGCO registration and an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario, and KatsuBet has neither. Alberta opened its own regulated market on 13 July 2026, built on AGLC registration and an AiGC agreement. In Quebec and the remaining provinces, the regulated choice is the province's own site. An offshore casino holding only a Curaçao licence fits none of these, and KatsuBet's own terms now refuse Canadian IPs in all of them.

What Canadians can do instead

Using a phone or a KatsuBet app instead of a browser makes no difference, because the ban follows your IP address, not your device. Any KatsuBet reviews written before 15 June 2026 were based on terms without the Canada clause, so treat their advice for Canadians as out of date.

We will not point you to a single replacement casino. Start with where Canadians can legally play online, or the Ontario guide if you live there, then compare brands in our full review list; how we review explains the scoring. If losing access has pushed you to chase money, our responsible-gambling resources list support lines and self-exclusion schemes. A provincial self-exclusion applies only to that province's regulated sites.

Verdict on KatsuBet Casino

Casino KatsuBet is not open to Canadians as of October 2026, even though it still runs En-CA and Fr-CA pages. Its en-CA terms, effective 15 June 2026, bar 'Canada (all provinces by IP)' from both the website and real-money games, while its bonus pages still advertise a C$ Interac offer. No one in Canada should open an account. Existing holders should know about the 25 EUR monthly fee on dormant balances.

Gambling should stay a choice

Online gambling in Canada is set province by province. Ontario and Alberta license private operators; the other provinces run their own sites, and casinos licensed abroad are not supervised by any Canadian regulator. Real-money play is for adults: 19+, or 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.
