BetVictor Canada is a two-province operation. The brand, which says it was established in 1946, runs a regulated Ontario site at betvictor.com/en-on and an Alberta site at betvictor.com/en-ca, both operated by BV (Canada) Limited. We found no BetVictor site for players in Quebec or the rest of Canada, and its App Store listing names only Ontario and Alberta.
That regulation shapes this review. From outside those provinces, BetVictor's site answers every request with a block page reading 'Our licence only lets us offer this site to customers we can locate'. So we work from the iGaming Ontario directory, the AGLC and Alberta iGaming Corporation registers and the iPhone app listing, all read on 23 October 2026, and say plainly where a fact is missing.
BetVictor Canada: two regulated sites, no offshore one
Many brands in this guide run an offshore site for most of Canada and separate regulated sites for Ontario and Alberta. BetVictor does not. An older entry for a Canada-wide BetVictor site looks like a leftover from before regulation; the evidence today points only to the two provincial sites:
- Ontario: betvictor.com/en-on, listed by iGaming Ontario under casino and sports betting, operator BV (Canada) Limited. Players need to be 19+ and inside Ontario while they play.
- Alberta: betvictor.com/en-ca, listed by Alberta iGaming Corporation as 'BetVictor Sportsbook & Casino', registered with the AGLC by BV (Canada) Ltd. until 13 July 2027. The provincial age is 18+.
- Quebec and the rest of Canada: not served. We did not test this from a Canadian address in another province, but no BetVictor site for them appears in any source we read.
If you live outside Ontario and Alberta, BetVictor Alberta and Ontario pages will simply refuse you. A provincially run site, such as Loto-Quebec, is the regulated alternative.
Welcome bonus and promotions
We cannot quote a BetVictor casino welcome offer, because the promotions and bonus terms sit behind the location check and no archived copy shows them. The app listing describes the product but not an offer. Rather than repeat figures from other review sites, which our rules forbid, we leave the bonus sub-score at 1 and will update it once the terms can be read from inside Ontario or Alberta.
The same applies to a BetVictor refer a friend scheme: none is described in any source available to us. When you are located in a province BetVictor serves, open the promotions page and the terms of any offer, and check four things before opting in: the wagering multiple, whether it applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus, the expiry, and which casino games count.
The casino publishes no welcome-offer terms we could source, so we show none.
Ontario site: Ontario's regulator allows casino bonuses to be advertised only on the casino's own site (AGCO Standard 2.05), so its offer is not listed here.
BetVictor casino games
The app listing promises hundreds of slots, blackjack, roulette and live casino games, without a number. Alberta iGaming Corporation's description adds casino games from leading providers, again without names. No titles were readable, so we cannot list the best BetVictor casino games or rank them, and we do not copy lists from other sites.
BetVictor publishes no game count, provider list or payout percentage on the sources we could read. Once you are inside the site, check each game's information panel for its return to player, and remember that every casino game carries a house edge.
Ontario site
- Total: hundreds of slots, blackjack, roulette and live casino games (no number) source
Alberta site
- Total: hundreds of slots, blackjack, roulette and live casino games (no number) source
Deposits and withdrawals
The app listing advertises 'lightning-fast Interac withdrawals' and offers no crypto. That is all the payment information available: the methods list, minimums, limits, fees and processing times sit inside the geolocated site. We therefore score payments at 3, crediting Interac and nothing that is not shown.
How long does BetVictor take to withdraw?
BetVictor does not publish a time we could read, and 'lightning-fast' is marketing language rather than a commitment. Before your first withdrawal, check the cashier's stated processing time for Interac, any pending period during which a request can be reversed, and what identity documents the operator needs. Uploading identity documents before you request a payout is the simplest way to avoid a delay.
The casino publishes no payment table we could source.
BetVictor mobile: the iPhone app
The 'BetVictor Sports Bet & Casino' app is in the Canadian App Store, sold by BV Gaming Limited. Its description says 'we're proud to welcome players from Ontario and Alberta' and names the AGCO and the AGLC with Alberta iGaming Corporation as its regulators. On 23 October 2026 it showed a 4.7 rating from 4,607 ratings; that is the App Store's figure, not our test. The app is listed in English only.
No Android listing was recorded. BetVictor mobile play also works in the browser, since both provincial sites run on betvictor.com. Either way, the location check applies: the app and the site only open for players BetVictor can place inside Ontario or Alberta.
Is BetVictor legit? Licence and operator
Yes, in the two provinces it serves. BetVictor's Ontario site is in the iGaming Ontario directory of regulated sites, accurate as of 1 September 2026, which means BV (Canada) Limited holds an AGCO registration and an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario. In Alberta, the AGLC register lists BV (Canada) Ltd. as an iGaming operator with registration to 13 July 2027, and Alberta iGaming Corporation lists the site. Alberta's regulated market opened on 13 July 2026.
The company names need a word of explanation. iGaming Ontario lists BV (Canada) Limited, the AGLC lists BV (Canada) Ltd., and the iPhone app is sold by BV Gaming Limited. Neither register explains how these companies relate, so we treat BV (Canada) as the operator you contract with in both provinces and BV Gaming Limited only as the app publisher.
Gaps remain. The AGCO registration number, the operator's address and company number, and any testing-lab certificate were not published on the sources we could read. We did not find a regulator action file for BetVictor in Canada, but our research records no completed search either, so we make no claim either way. BetVictor legit status is therefore clear on licensing, and incomplete on transparency.
Why it matters: a provincially regulated site gives you a Canadian complaints route, through the AGCO in Ontario or the AGLC in Alberta. See playing in Canada for how those systems work.
Support, French and signing up
No live chat, email, phone number or hours could be read, and the app is listed in English only, so French-speaking players should not expect French support. That is why support scores 1: not proof of poor service, but no published service to judge.
Signing up follows the regulated pattern:
- Be physically in Ontario (19+) or Alberta (18+).
- Open betvictor.com, or the app, and choose the provincial site that loads for your location.
- Register with details that match your ID, and complete identity checks.
- Set deposit limits before your first deposit.
The location check, and what to verify once inside
Requests to betvictor.com from Spain and from the United States returned HTTP status 451 with the line 'It appears you are accessing our website from a prohibited location'. The Ontario page adds 'Our licence only lets us offer this site to customers we can locate'. In plain terms, BetVictor has to confirm where you are before it shows anything, including its terms. Archived copies of the Alberta pages hold only a blank script shell or the same block page.
For you, this has two consequences. First, a trip outside Ontario or Alberta will lock you out until you return. Second, the facts that matter most can only be read once you are inside a province BetVictor serves. Before depositing, look up these items, which our research could not record:
- the welcome offer's wagering, expiry, maximum bet and game weighting;
- the full list of deposit and withdrawal methods, with minimums, maximums and fees;
- the stated processing time for Interac withdrawals and any pending period;
- which identity documents are required, and when;
- live chat, email or phone details, their hours, and whether French is offered;
- deposit, loss and time limits, time-outs and self-exclusion;
- the AGCO registration number and the operator's registered address.
If a site you are about to join cannot answer those questions on its own pages, ask support in writing and keep the reply.
Responsible gambling
BetVictor's own responsible-gambling tools could not be read, so we do not list them. Regulated sites in both provinces have to offer player-protection tools under their licences, and Ontario players can contact ConnexOntario for free, confidential help. Combining a sportsbook and casino in one account makes spending harder to track, so a single deposit limit covering both is worth setting on day one. More help is listed on our responsible gambling page.
How BetVictor compares with other Ontario and Alberta brands
Two other brands we review also run regulated sites in both provinces, and their facts make the gaps at BetVictor easier to see:
| BetVictor | Spin Casino | 888casino | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ontario operator | BV (Canada) Limited | Cadtree Limited | VHL Ontario Limited |
| Alberta registration to | 2027-07-13 | 2027-07-13 | 2027-07-13 |
| Site for the rest of Canada | None | Offshore, Kahnawake licence | International site, Gibraltar licence (country list not published) |
| Published Ontario welcome terms | Not readable | Free spins, no wagering | 10x the bonus |
| Published support channels | None found | Live chat, email | 24/7 chat, toll-free phone |
On paper the regulatory standing is the same; what differs is how much each operator lets you check before you are inside the province. For a careful player, being able to read the terms in advance is worth more than any headline offer.
Who BetVictor suits
This BetVictor Ontario review, and its Alberta equivalent, come out the same way. BetVictor is a fit for a player in either province who also bets on sport, wants both in one regulated account, and is comfortable judging the bonus and banking terms once inside the site. The long-established brand, the iGaming Ontario listing and the AGLC registration are solid ground. As a BetVictor Ontario casino choice for pure casino players, though, it is hard to recommend over brands that publish their terms openly.
Everyone outside Ontario and Alberta should skip it, since there is no site to join. Browse our casino reviews for options in your province, and see how we review for why unpublished facts lower a score.
