Richard Casino Canada searches now run into the casino's own rulebook: the terms in force since 15 April 2026 list Canada among the restricted countries where real-money play is prohibited. That is a change from the 2025 terms, which did not exclude the whole country.
This Richard Casino review is therefore a status page rather than a scored review. It covers who runs the casino and under which licence, the exact clause that shut Canadians out, the contradiction between that clause and the Canadian section still on the site, and what it means for logins, bonuses and withdrawals. The terms were read on 23 October 2026.
Metlait SRL and the Tobique licence
Richard Casino says on its homepage that it was founded in 2023. Its terms name the operator as Metlait SRL, a company registered in Costa Rica under number 3-102-911867, which also runs a family of sister casinos. An archived copy of the terms from 12 October 2025 gives its licence as Tobique Gaming Commission licence 0000064, and the commission's online validator showed the licence for www.richardcasino.com as valid on 23 October 2026.
That licence does not make Richard Casino part of any province's regulated market. In Canada, provincial status comes from a provincial regulator, such as the AGCO with iGaming Ontario or the AGLC in Alberta. Richard Casino is an offshore site without one, yet for a time it courted Canadians directly: its Canadian section listed Interac and Canadian dollars.
What changed: clause 2.4 of the April 2026 terms
| Date | What the record shows |
|---|---|
| 12 October 2025 | Archived terms name the Tobique licence 0000064; the 2025 terms did not exclude all of Canada |
| 15 April 2026 | Terms Version 1.0 take effect; clause 2.4 lists Canada among Restricted Countries prohibited from real-money play |
| 12 September 2026 | An archived copy shows the Canadian-English section still online |
| 23 October 2026 | Terms read at the Canadian-English address; other pages in that section redirected to a mirror domain that would not load |
The two signals contradict each other. A casino that keeps a Canadian section suggests it wants Canadian players; a terms clause that bans real-money play from Canada says it does not. The terms are the contract an account runs on, so we treat Richard Casino as closed to Canada unless they change.
Richard Casino login and withdrawals for existing players
We found no notice addressed to Canadian account holders about closures or balances, and clause 2.4 is the only Canada-specific rule we could confirm. What follows is general caution, not a promise from the casino:
- Before depositing again, ask support in writing what happens to an existing balance held by a Canadian player.
- Keep copies of your transaction history and every message.
- Do not try to get round the restriction. A Richard Casino login from Canada for real-money play is exactly what clause 2.4 prohibits.
A Richard Casino withdrawal request is governed by the same terms, so read them in full before you make one.

Free chip, sign-up bonus and real money
The most common questions are about offers: a Richard Casino free chip, a Richard Casino sign up bonus, or how to play Richard Casino real money games from Canada. As of October 2026 no offer for Canadians is listed, because real-money play from Canada is prohibited under the current terms. A promotion that a player is not allowed to use has no value, so we have not assessed wagering or caps.
Richard Casino app and app download
The terms we read set the rules for every way of reaching the casino. A Richard Casino app, or any Richard Casino app download, would not change the position for Canadians: clause 2.4 applies to the account, not to the device.
Is Richard Casino legit?
It is a real business with a named operator, a company registration number and a licence the issuing commission's validator showed as valid. Is Richard Casino legit for a Canadian in 2026, though? Its own terms say Canadians may not play for real money, and it has no provincial licence. Our review method explains why we only rate casinos a Canadian can join.
Where Canadians can play instead
Choose a site that your province regulates:
- Ontario: AGCO-registered sites with an iGaming Ontario operating agreement. See our Ontario hub.
- Alberta: AGLC-registered sites with an Alberta iGaming Corporation agreement, live since 13 July 2026.
- Elsewhere: your provincially run site.
The minimum age is 19, or 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Playing in Canada sets out the rules by province, our reviews index covers the casinos we have checked, and the responsible gambling page explains limits and self-exclusion.
