Wheelz Casino no longer has a regulated home in Canada. Its Ontario site was listed in a May 2025 copy of the iGaming Ontario directory and was missing from the copy saved in December 2025; it was still missing when we checked the live list on 23 October 2026.
The brand itself has not vanished. Wheelz.com still runs under a Malta Gaming Authority licence, but its terms (version 1.6, last updated 14 October 2026), bonus rules and payment page make no mention of Canada, the Canadian dollar or Interac. This page explains what changed, what it means if you had an account, and why we treat Wheelz as closed for Canadians rather than review it as a live casino.
Wheelz casino Canada status: what changed in 2025
The evidence comes from the regulator's own public list of Ontario sites, as saved by the Wayback Machine, and from our check of the live list.

The directory does not publish a reason or an exact exit date, so all we can say is that Wheelz withdrew from Ontario between those two 2025 copies. Our records also do not name the company that held the Ontario registration, so we do not assume it was the same company that runs wheelz.com today.
Who runs Wheelz now: the Malta site
The wheelz.com terms name Granturo Malta Limited, company number C107733, at Tower Business Centre, Level 3, Triq It-Torri, Birkirkara, Malta. The site holds Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/B2C/1079/2025, issued on 10 September 2025, and the MGA's licence checker showed it as licensed. A Malta licence is a real one, but it is not a Canadian one: no province licenses this site.
Is wheelz.com open to Canadians? What the site shows
Three things point away from Canada, as of October 2026:
- The terms allow sign-ups only from "the list of registration countries" (clause 4.9), and Canada is not named anywhere in them.
- The site has an English version only; the address a Canadian version would use returns an error page reading "This page took a gamble... and lost".
- Payments are in euros: a EUR 10 minimum deposit and a EUR 20 minimum withdrawal, with no Interac and no Canadian dollar listed.
None of this is a formal statement that Canada is barred, which is why the page title asks the question. But a Wheelz casino online account for a Canadian would rest on terms that never mention the country, and we cannot call that open.
If you had a Wheelz account
We found no published notice telling former Ontario players how balances were handled when the site left the market, so we cannot tell you what happened to yours. The only support routes we could confirm are those in the wheelz.com terms: live chat and [email protected]. Keep your own records of deposits and withdrawals when you get in touch.
If you hold an account on wheelz.com itself, note clause 5.12 of its terms. After six months without a login, the site may charge an inactivity fee of EUR 10 or 10% of the real-money balance, whichever is greater, every month. A forgotten balance can shrink quietly.
Wheelz games, Canada and the bonus question
We could not see the lobby, so there is no confirmed list of Wheelz games Canada players could reach, and we will not describe any single Wheelz game from memory. The bonus terms say all casino bonuses carry 35x wagering unless stated otherwise and that bets made with bonus money count only up to EUR 5. As of October 2026 there is no Wheelz offer aimed at Canadians, and no Wheelz casino ca site where one could appear.
Where Canadians can play instead of Wheelz
Anyone searching for Wheelz Canada today will not find a provincially licensed version. We do not point Wheelz players to a single substitute. The safer move is to start from your province:
- Ontario: sites with an AGCO registration and an iGaming Ontario agreement, explained in our Ontario guide.
- Alberta: sites registered with the AGLC under an Alberta iGaming Corporation agreement, live since 13 July 2026.
- Elsewhere: the provincially run site, or an offshore site that no province licenses.

Earlier versions of this Wheelz review scored the main site. We have replaced that with this status page because there is no longer a Wheelz site we can confirm serves Canada, and rating one would imply there is.
