Magic Red casino was, until 2025, one of the brands in iGaming Ontario's directory of regulated sites. It is not there any more. The brand appears in a capture of that directory from 17 May 2025, linking to magicred.ca, and is missing from a capture of 8 December 2025 and from the live directory, which is marked accurate as of 1 September 2026. When we checked magicred.ca from outside Canada on 28 October 2026, it answered with an HTTP 400 "Invalid URL" error instead of a casino.
This page explains what Magic Red was, what changed and when, and what that means for a former player. We have not given it a score, because there is no live Canadian site to rate; our review method only scores casinos that still take players.
What Magic Red was
A July 2025 copy of the magicred.ca terms describes the set-up. Magic Red was "a brand owned by PALSAR LIMITED, a company incorporated under the laws of Gibraltar". Its games were "powered and operated by Aspire Global International LTD", a Maltese company (registration C42296, 135 High Street, Sliema) holding Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/CRP/148/2007, issued on 17 August 2009.
In Ontario, Magic Red sat in the iGaming Ontario directory as a casino brand, which means it held an AGCO registration and an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario at the time. The regulator pages we could read do not name the company that held that registration, so we leave that point open rather than guess.
What changed, and when
Each date below comes from the regulator's directory or the casino's own pages, read live or through archived copies.
| Date | What the record shows | Source |
|---|---|---|
| 17 May 2025 | Magic Red listed as a casino in Ontario's regulated market | iGaming Ontario directory (archived copy) |
| 24 July 2025 | magicred.ca terms name Palsar Limited and Aspire Global with Malta licence wording; no AGCO or iGaming Ontario wording | magicred.ca terms (archived copy) |
| 8 December 2025 | Magic Red no longer in the directory | iGaming Ontario directory (archived copy) |
| 14 May 2026 | magicred.ca still shows the same Palsar and Aspire Global FAQ text | magicred.ca FAQ (archived copy) |
| 1 September 2026 | No Magic Red entry in the live directory | iGaming Ontario directory |
| 28 October 2026 | magicred.ca answers with HTTP 400 "Invalid URL" | Our check of magicred.ca, from outside Canada |
Between July 2025 and May 2026 the domain may have served players outside Ontario under the Malta licence, but we found no restricted-territory list to confirm that, so we make no claim either way.
Magic Red casino withdrawal time and old balances
We cannot give a Magic Red casino withdrawal time, because no current page we could read publishes one and the site did not load for us. Nor have we found a notice from the brand telling former players how to withdraw a remaining balance. If you think money was left in an account, two points are on record:
- The last terms we could read, from July 2025, named Palsar Limited of Gibraltar as brand owner and Aspire Global International LTD of Malta as operator.
- The company that held the Ontario registration is not named on the regulator pages we could read.
Keep your own emails, statements and transaction records from the old account.
The casino publishes no payment table we could source.
Magic Red slots: can you still play them?
No. Magic Red slots and the rest of its lobby sat on magicred.ca, and that address did not open a casino when we checked it on 28 October 2026. We have no current list of its games to report, and any site using the Magic Red name to ask for a deposit should be treated with suspicion until you can trace it to a licence you can verify in a public register. There is also no Magic Red bonus for Canadian players as of October 2026.
The casino publishes no game counts or provider list we could source.
Is Magic Red legal in Ontario? What Canadians can do now
Magic Red is not in Ontario's regulated market today. In Ontario, a regulated site is registered with the AGCO and holds an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario; the iGaming Ontario directory lists them. Elsewhere in Canada:
- Alberta: since 13 July 2026, regulated sites hold an AGLC registration and an agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation.
- Other provinces: each runs its own provincial site.
- Age: 19+ in most provinces, 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.
