Bet20 is closed. In October 2026 the casino's address, bet20.com, forwards to a Dynadot page that reads 'This domain name is for sale!', and no casino is served there. This Bet20 casino review is therefore a status page, with no score and no bonus table: it covers what the brand was, how it disappeared and what that means for anyone still looking for it.

Each point rests on archived copies of the site from 2024 and 2025, the domain's public WHOIS record and the sale page itself. One mix-up is worth clearing up at the start: Bet20 is not 20Bet, and the website bet20.ca is not a Bet20 site.

What Bet20 casino was

Bet20 was a crypto casino that described itself as built on 'Bitcoin-enabled infrastructure'. Its archived footer named Platinum Technology N.V., Curacao company number 163348, at Zuikertuintjeweg Z/N in May 2025 and at Abraham de Veerstraat 9 from August to November 2025. The same footer claimed licence OGL/2024/137/0132 from the Curacao Gaming Control Board, 'issued on 08/07/2024', with the line 'Trust Service and Represented by https://igagroup.com'. That licence has not been checked against the Curacao register, so with the site gone it stands as the casino's own claim, nothing more.

By August 2025 the site had been renamed Bety on the same address, appearing as 'Bety casino(bet20.com)'. Its last archived homepage, from November 2025, advertised '100% up to 300 EUR + 50 FS On your first deposit' and offered 11 languages, French among them.

One detail from May 2025 says a lot about how it operated. The homepage told players: 'Bypass Restrictions : Use a VPN to access our platform securely, even in restricted regions.' A casino that invites players to get around country blocks is a red flag on its own.

Bet20 timeline: from sale page to casino and back

No closure notice was ever published, so the record has to be pieced together from dated sources:

April 2024Wayback Machinebet20.com is a domain-for-sale page
15 August 2024Wayback MachineA casino block page: 'Players from your country are not allowed to visit this casino'

Taken together, a casino sat on the address from at least August 2024 until mid-November 2025, and stopped some time after that. The exact date is not on public record. The Bety name has no live site either: bety.com does not resolve.

Was Bet20 ever open to Canadians?

That was never confirmed. No restricted-country list from Bet20 or Bety was archived, so there is no record of whether Canadian players could register. What is clear is the type of licence it claimed: a Curacao licence is an offshore licence, not a provincial one.

  • Ontario: only operators registered with the AGCO and holding an iGaming Ontario operating agreement may offer online casino games. Bet20 claimed neither. Our Ontario guide explains how the regulated market works.
  • Alberta: the regulated market, for AGLC-registered operators with an AiGC agreement, opened on 13 July 2026, and no archived copy shows Bet20 trading after November 2025.
  • Other provinces: regulated online play runs through each province's own site.

Whatever its status was in 2025, there is nothing to join in 2026. Anyone looking for a Bet20 casino login or a Bet20 bonus will find only a sale page, and no offer exists for Canadians as of October 2026.

Bet20 and 20Bet are different brands

The names are easy to confuse, and at least one website blurs them. bet20.ca, for example, is not a Bet20 site at all: it is an affiliate page about 20Bet that names 20bet.com and TechSolutions Group N.V. Bet20's own footer named a different company, Platinum Technology N.V.

If 20Bet is the brand you meant, it has its own 20Bet review. That link is there to settle the name question, not as a stand-in for Bet20: the two share no operator in the records available, and nothing suggests Bet20 accounts moved anywhere.

What former Bet20 or Bety players can do

Neither the old address nor any archived page explains what happened to open balances, so there is no official procedure to quote. Practical steps for anyone who held an account:

  • Collect your records: emails from Bet20 or Bety, deposit receipts, crypto transaction IDs and bank statements.
  • Note the company and licence the footer named: Platinum Technology N.V., Curacao company number 163348, licence OGL/2024/137/0132.
  • Treat any site that asks for your old Bet20 login details with suspicion. The casino is closed, so there is no genuine account page to sign in to.

Verdict on Bet20 Casino

Bet20 is closed as of October 2026. Its address shows a domain-for-sale page, the last archived copies of a working casino date from November 2025, and no successor site is online. It was a Curacao-registered crypto casino that once told visitors to use a VPN in restricted regions, and no archived page shows whether Canadians were accepted. Former players should gather their records. For somewhere to play now, start from our guide to playing in Canada, not from a lookalike name.

Gambling should stay a choice

Online gambling in Canada is set province by province. Ontario and Alberta license private operators; the other provinces run their own sites, and casinos licensed abroad are not supervised by any Canadian regulator. Real-money play is for adults: 19+, or 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.
